AM Radio Noise
-A bad ground between alternator and the battery or between the radio and the battery
-Make sure all brackets are reinstalled after an alternator change.
-A noisy I.C. chip in a regulator
-The hood must be well grounded
-Is it Ignition or alternator noise?
-Does it go away when the drive belt is off?
-Radio Shack has a capacitor that will work for alternator noise most of the time
