         
1.9, 2.3, 2.5, 3.0-Liter Engines Part #’s 3181, 3187, 3189, 3196, 3198, 3204, 3213, 3230, 3270, 3272 There are different length bolts used to mount these starters in the vehicle. Be sure to use the proper length bolts for each mounting hole. If a longer bolt is used where a short bolt should be used, the bolt will bottom out in the housing and appear to be tight when in fact it is not flush with the mounting surface. The starter may become loose from engine vibration and could eventually cause starter drive and/or flywheel damage.
