         
CS130D Units Careful Diagnosing 8155, 8158, 8156, 8160, 8197, 8200, 8206, 8208, 8216, 8222, 8228, 8229, 8236 The regulators will sense internal temperature in the unit and will shut the charging system down if the temperature reaches 280 degrees Fahrenheit. Also the dash light will come on. Once the unit cools down it will begin to function again. On hot summer days let your vehicle cool down before diagnosing the charging system. A temperature meter may be a good tool to have.
