         
Overcharging 1993 Dodge Intrepid Check the dark green wire from the PCM pin #20 to a good ground, you should have less then 5 ohms. If more than that, the wire is shorted and it will cause overcharging. 1993 Nissan Altima The fuse box is located next to the battery. Corrosion around the alternator fuse from battery acid spill or overflow can cause a poor connection and cause an overcharge. Also a bad positive connection can result in an overcharge.
