         
Cold Start/Hot Start During extremely cold temperatures some Hyundai Elantra's with the 1.6L engine may be difficult to start. Hyundai has put out a technical service bulletin addressing this (TSB #95-36-001) as well as a Cold Start Repair Kit (P/N 39902-33Q10D). The kit is installed into the Engine Control Module circuits under the dash. A faulty EFI relay may cause hard hot restarts on 1990-92 Honda Accord and 1988-91 Honda Civic models. The EFI relay is located in the upper left side of the dash. Symptoms may include "no fuel", "no spark", or both. The relay is stamped "Mitsuba", and is usually a brown color.
